Cara is a Certified Athletic Therapist who works with active people of all ages and abilities to prevent and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries. With over ten years of experience as an athletic therapist, Cara uses hands-on techniques, exercise prescription and education to promote healing and encourage performance optimization. Cara believes that addressing the underlying causes of injury and teaching individuals how to correct imbalances results in positive, lasting changes allowing people to enjoy their daily activities. She is passionate about inspiring others to be physically active and has taught bootcamp classes for over six years. Cara is an avid sports enthusiast and was the overall second place female in Island Gutbuster Trail Race series, has finished the Boston Marathon and Ironman Canada. Cara completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria and then went on to a post-graduate diploma in Sports Injury Management to become a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2005. Cara loves adventuring in the outdoors and when she’s not chasing her three girls around can often be found running on the local trails or along the ocean.
